They named their first son Conrad.
They barttered for gold nuggets wich were very valuable at the time
and they were gonna need some extra income for there new son so its
a good thing that they had gold nuggest there. Gold nuggets were
little nuggets of gold and were very exspensive.
He was succseful
but conrad and his father often clashed so they struggled to make it work
but in his heart he knew his father would never treat him
like an equal partner. So he new he had to branch off and start his own stuff,
because he had to do it his own way because his dad was tying him down
and not letting him fully expand his skills in the work / buisness area.
He never develped great skill sin the language in france but he was one with
the ladys and they loved him as he loved her.
He thought he was gonna be a banker
but it turns out he went into the hotel buisness he wasnt in a straight line
which in someways can be better because new things open up to even more journeys and ideas.
His fathers general store was none as the man who bought the Walton's.
His son Hilton Jr married the 18 year old beauty from where she was from
The 2 divorced after 2 months. This didn't bother there family business wise.
Hilton decided that the airplane travel industry had been untouched by others like him
so he dove into that and combined airports with hotels and he put hotels where the plains
dropped them off at whatever part of the world they were traveling to.

Grand conyon University
He wrote a book on owning a university but he had never in fact
been to university. Thats the ironic part, people thought that it was crazy
and that he was a on crack again but he had it thought out that it was a good idea!
Many schools are not meeting the marketing demand.

Pork Barrell
Everyone is out because they have a bad evaluation
wich i think its important to have agood evaluation.
Except for the lady who made a great offer for 50 grand for 50%
wich i think is a very bad deal and i would not except that. They
are willing to invest 100 Gs into the buisness so i dont see why they wouldnt
use that money and have the buisness fully as there own.
The people with the headphone saver was not a very
important device i think because you can just wrap the wire around the phone
or ipod for free.

Mr Gesbrecht
He likes to run to stay in shape, he says to himself when he gets tried
of running suck it up Levi your investing. He uses that as motivation to not stop
running.I think its important that everyone finds there own different motivations for
whatever your trying to do.
A very important part of being and entrepreneur is having to ability of creating somthing from nothing.
There are many sacrifices you have to make like losing friends or not hanging out with them.
You have to start thinking ahead.
There is no prerecisit for being an entreprener its a good idea to go to further into school and
is helpful but is not necessary.
Dont do somithng you dont like find somthing that you do like.
You learn alot from reading books says Mr Gesbrecht.
Spa utopia is a people loving buisness, they are really popular for giving out gift certificats for christmas and other days.
He said that one christmas they had about 20000 gift cards sold!
Find ways to have fun in your workplace!
Sometimes you have to swollow your pride and forget about it.
Become finacially literate.

bobble head
He was very purswasive because they kept making him offers
His buisness had to do with selling bobble head people and
he did not get the money becuawe they figured going to the mall was a bad idea
Going to the mall would seem like a bad idea to me to becuase i can see alot
of people not being interested and it might become a low selling buisness
that will get bought out.

We are growing up in a world of marketing
Kids are uncontrolably spending our money
They hire people to go find trendsetters and cool kids and then
they find whats cool. MTV and Sprtie pop were joined togethere
becasuse people thought that that would make sprite cool but it was stupid and
unnessesery. Apperantly teen males were into stupid stuff years ago.
Advertistments show women off as sex toys and choclotes more than anything ellse
and it makes them look like they cant do anything else.
you gotta put your finger in the dam

Ray Kroc
this is from half way through cus i was late for class
Once ray got his hands on the multi mixers any company that didnt have
it was slowley starting to go out of buisness because they could not keep up
They created a new menu from 25 items to 9 wich actually turn into a succsess
and they got new things to speed service up one being new burger cookers.
another being the fact that you could now order food your self (self serve)
Limited menu for a great price
do less but do it excellently more for less!
he seems to agree to the term cleansiness is next to godliness
All different ideas come from head offices and franchises
He fofilled his childhood dreams by owning a basball team well not
the one he wasnted when he was a kid but still he got it he brought his enthusiasm
to the games and people loved it.
They threw him a glorious 80 bday party and at the beggining of the game
he drove around the stadium in a car and the fans loved it
He suffered a series of strokes because of to many greasy cheeseburgers in
his lifetime

He is a nice guy with good intentions but he is
not being convicing enough for the sharks because
they are still not willing to give him money.
He is planning on taking the wrong dessicion i think because
if he chooses it it the shark get 75% of the company wich means he only
gets 25% of the company wich is a very little amount of money compared
to what he could have.

Roses for a cause was a geat succsess with 714$

I think that Ben Kipper will be most succsesful because he has a strong buisness that has been going for a year or so already, and if he takes Mr. Ross's advice on buisness he could be very sucssesful in the future!

He was involved in unsafe buisness practice.
wich got him and his friend in trouble with the press and
other business owners.
He started the Home Depot stores as a small store
but now has expanded and is located in lots of places.
Opening day wasnt good because there was alot of money going out
to things for the store and hiring people. But not much money coming
in so it wasnt much of an opening.
They had lots of wired traditions like when hiring a new person
they would get every employee and yell stuff at him and then
the home depot man came out wearing a suit and they were like yaaa

im secretly a woman
The hedghog concept is an idea from the Jim Collins book "Good to Great." It refers to how the top managers in a company take care of, and lead, the business. The hedgehog concept states that there are two ways that a top-level leader can direct the company: as a hedgehog or as a fox.
The idea for the hedgehog concept is drawn from the fable about the tortoise and the hare. In the story, the tortoise and the hare decide to have a race.

Importance of being frugal
He was popular with the ladies and was a football star
He had to evict people and do forclosures andhe saw how sad they were so he decided to start saving his money so he would never be that person
Working around the clock he achieved his dream and got the store
He was good at noticing others strengths and had good ideas
He left his breafcase ever Higher volumes allowed him to negotiate even lower purchase prices with the wholesaler on subsequent purchases. Walton's store led in sales and profits in the Butler Brothers' six-state region. One factor that made this store successful was its central location, making it accessible to a wide range of customers. In an attempt to limit the expansion of his main competitor, the Sterling Store, Walton leased a nearby Kroger store and opened it in 1950 as the "Eagle" department store, but it
didn't fare as well.
When Walton bought the franchise from the previous owner in 1945, the store was doing $72,000 in sales annually. By 1950, the store was doing $250,000 in sales annually, due to Walton's ideas and practices.
Because of the variety store's enormous success, the landlord, P.K. Holmes, refused to renew the lease when it expired, desiring to pass the store onto his son. The lack of a renewal option, together with the outrageous rent of 5% of sales, were early business lessons to Walton. Despite forcing Walton out, Holmes bought the store's inventory and fixtures for $50,000, which Walton called "a fair price".[5]

Bad Service Experiance
I was treated bad at a golf course with two of my buddys, we sat at a table for over 20 minutes before anyone came over to ask us for our order. Then we waited atleast another 20 mins before we got it
We figured it was because we weren't old and wise like the others there.

Richard Branson owner of multi buisness's and multi billionare was a major risk taker. One way being that he jumped out of a hot air balloon when he was a multi buisness owner
He is a very succesful man being that he is rich and that he started off with nothing.
He is a great man beacuse he finds time to be with his children
and he also cares about the enivironmental problems like gloabal warming and is aware of it unlike some rich people may be.
He is very smart because he targets the buisnesses that need repair and have bad service and makes them highclass buisnesses making lots of money.
He is an excellent entrepreneur and i hope to be someday!
1. How you treat others counts.
2Courage:willingness to put yourself at risk.
3.Value added.
4.Leap into the unkown.
5.Willing to serve others
6.Calculated risk.
7.Everything is negotiable.
